IBEW Local 483 Online Resign Form

IBEW Local 483 represents Pierce County, Washington.

Out of Work Books Information Please Read:

  • ALL INITIAL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DONE IN PERSON! 
  • You do not need a login or a password to re-sign the books. You must be an active IBEW Local 483 member to have a website login. If you are not currently an IBEW Local 483 member, and you sign up for a login, your account will be denied.
  • The Local Union will require a termination slip or a Letter of Introduction from your home local to sign the out-of-work-books, unless you are signing for the first time as an un-affiliated Union member. A member that can demonstrate they have quit, can sign the books. If we receive a Letter of Introduction but you have not come in and signed in person, you will not be placed on the books until you complete the form in person.
  • You must read the registration and resign policies to resign the out-of-work-books. 
  • All re-signs must be made between the 10th-16th of every month. If you do not resign in this time frame, your name will be removed from the books. 
  • Job calls will be made during our hours of operation. Therefore, make sure that you have listed a working phone number and are available to receive calls during our hours of operation. If you do not answer, we will move on to the next person on the books. We will not be sending emails, you must list a phone number to receive calls. 
  • If you accept another job call from another local, please inform us so that we can take your name off the books.
  • If you have accepted another IBEW's long call, you can not remain on our books and will be removed.

  • We only represent Pierce County, Washington, so we do not get very many job calls as we are a small local. We also recommend looking into signing IBEW Local 77, 125 & 659's books unless you are classified as a book 1.
