President's Note :
New member information :
It has come to my attention that some new members
were not sure if they should vote.
Yes,
if you are a member in good standing you should
vote.
If you get a ballot that is a good sign that your qualified
to vote. If you don't let the union
office know, we may not have an address for you or the address
we do have maybe
incorrect.
To make sure your vote counts you must :
1. Make no extra marks on the ballot.
2. Place the ballot in the coin envelope (yellow envelope).
3. Place the coin envelope into the pre-addressed envelope.
4. On the pre-addressed envelope clearly write your name and
address. The return
address
on the
envelope must match the address your
ballot was mailed to.
If you do not follow the proper procedure, your ballot will
be invalid and your vote will
not count.
We always mail a set of instructions with every ballot.
Please take a minute to read
them.
