MACY'S NEGOTIATIONS NOT GOING WELL

UFCW Local 367 requests that you e-mail the following message out to your friends, family and co-workers:

UFCW Local 367 has been negotiating with Tacoma Macy's for 6 months.  The proposal that Macy's has brought to the table, among other devastating things, will take $750,000 out of the local economy each year by ending commissions and paying minimum wage.  In hard numbers that's $2,250,000 over the life of the 3-year contract.  Macy's wants to take millions of dollars out of the community and greedily shove it in their own pockets.  Please DO NOT SHOP Tacoma Macy's until they agree to a fair contract for ALL workers.

Please send this e-mail message to all of your e-mail contacts, put it on your Facebook page or other social networking site, and get the word out that Tacoma Macy's doesn't care what kind of neighbor it is.
